Birthday surprise fail
After waking my husband up early so I could see his reaction to getting an illy espresso machine for his birthday, imagine the utter disappointment when we discovered that illy had failed to include the coffee pods. No delicious coffee surprise, just a useless plastic machine. I thought it was my fault and have been feeling bad all morning for ruining his birthday. called illy and they said coffee shiuld have come in separate package, that they would resend it now. As a customer who has been let down, I expect more from you than just something you should have gotten right in the first place! rethinking whether to continue

Avoid at ALL costs
My email to Illy-You are a joke of a company, first you sent me a broken, brand new, coffee machine then I sent it back and you returned it, still broken, so eventually I decided to pay for it just to end the subscription and explained why in an email that you obviously read but ignored as you charged me for the broken machine and to add insult to Injury you sent and charged me for another 6 packets off coffee for a machine they has never worked, I tried to contact you on numerous occasions but just get ignored, you are a total joke of a company

Absolutely terrible company to use if…
Absolutely terrible company to use if you are a business.

Terrible customer service, our rep is as useful as a chocolate fire-guard and also very rude. Your rep will do nothing but try and rinse you for every penny you have and you will constantly be double charged for the same orders.

This company will not look after you and will not go the extra mile to keep you happy, unfortunately we have asked them to take out the machine even though we have 1.5 years left to pay the contract.

Avoid, avoid, AVOID!

Don’t waste your money and time
Ordered the coffee subscription and coffee machine almost two weeks ago. Payment has been taken but I haven’t heard anything since. Emailed and no reply after a week. Used the whats app number which also has been ignored. Now I have to raise a dispute with the bank just to get the money back. Non existent customer service. Waste of time.

Customer service absolutely dreadful
They had a special offer - buy a certain amount of coffee pods and get a free machine. Of course you had to buy about £120 worth of coffee but I would have bought that anyway, plus there was a bonus of a free machine.
Anyway, about 6 months after I got the machine it broke. I contacted Illy who said, yes it was in warranty and we can collect it from you. And then after that I couldn't get in touch with them. I email them, whatsapped them etc but they will not contact me.
I suppose because I got the machine free, it wasn't worth their while to fix it.
I think its disgusting and I won't buy any coffee from them again.

Not once did Customer Service tell me…
Not once did Customer Service tell me that it would take a month for my purchase to get to me. Still waiting and it’s been two weeks. On the phone they told me it’s because it comes by boat. True, free shipping but a month? Three emails and not one reply. What a horror.

Coffee never arrived
Tried to set up a subscription and it was suspended randomly before I even received my order. Called customer service who assured me they would resolve this however we have been waiting over a week. They were in touch twice to apologise and promised free coffee to tie us over until the subscription was reactivated, however this never arrived. I’ll be closing my account today unless this gets resolved by their team.

Don’t waste your time!
I set up a coffee bean subscription. 1st order never arrived as it was incorrectly addressed. Takes weeks to get a response from their customer services, and they obviously don’t read your emails! Still waiting for a resolve after 3 months. They’re an utter waste of space!

GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK
Like their coffee in Nespresso pods. Thought would give them machine and pods a go. Eventually turned up and we were shocked by the amount of packaging. Huge number of boxes for something other vendors do for a fifth of size.
Decided to send back, received by them on 17th Dec.
Still don't have my refund. Chased so many times, hopeless, one person dealing with all enquiries. no idea when I will get my money back

First ever experience with this company…
First ever experience with this company: 1) Ordered £50-worth of coffee. 2) After 48 hrs without any indication of progress, politely enquired via email and was reassured the order was waiting to be picked and would be with me in 4-7 days. 3) Next day, illy cancelled the order without explanation AND deleted my account!!!

I like the coffee, but terrible customer service
Great coffee, but terrible customer service. I have placed my order one month ago, had to contact the customer service about my order 5 times over the phone, many more times via various emails. Finally my order was cancelled without any notice or explanation. I think I will be changing my coffee machine.

Terrible company- every order gets sent…
Terrible company- every order gets sent to a different address, incorrect coffee for coffee machine and then they charge you again to resend correct coffee despite it being their error.

S#iT CUSTOMER SERVICE. DONT USE
Ordered Iperespresso coffee capsules 1 week ago, should have been here in 48 hours. 8 days after, still nothing. Sent 3 emails since - still nothing. Asked to cancel the order - STILL NOTHING.
Good coffee, s#⁰it customer service, typical italians.

First and last time ordering
Wish I had checked here before ordering. After making TWO cups of coffee the machine decided to start dripping constantly. Contacted Customer Service and was told someone would respond the following day. Twelve days later, nothing despite me emailing several times, phoning is a non starter.

No customer service, low quality goods.
My Iperespresso coffee machine stopped working after only one month. I've emailed Illy customer service, called them after waiting a week and tried their social media.

No reply. Nothing.
The only thing I got on the phone was 'please call back later, we're busy.'

Illy coffee machines are low quality but their customer service is somehow even worse. Avoid!
